Panaiyeri Pandian added colour to this event as he came all the way from Viluppuram along with his family. During collection of seeds too, he joined with his family.

Thozhar Roja sang a song on importance of Palm Trees. Vishwa Vedha did a tremendous job in collection, loading, transporting and placing at various points where the plantations were planned.
